Volunteer Work

Besides practicing medicine at his podiatry office locations in Brook Park, Willoughby, & Cleveland, Dr. Kimmel enjoys spending time with his family and living by the words of Winston Churchill:

“We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.”

For the past 24 years, Dr. Kimmel has volunteered at the podiatric medical clinic at the Free Clinic of Cleveland. In 2011, Dr. Kimmel won the Judson/University Circle Smart Living Award for Volunteerism.

Dr. Kimmel has also participated in medical missions to El Salvador and Nicarauga with Medwish.

During his residency, Dr. Kimmel was the chief resident of the Baja Project For Crippled Children, now called Operation Foot Print which treats pediatric orthopedic deformities in Mexico and Central America.

Dr. Kimmel was also a member of the board of directors of Bellfaire JCB and participated in the Big Brother/Big Sister Organization where he served as a big brother and a mentor for over 5 years.
